Following up to yesterday’s news concerning America’s President Trump’s executive order, the judiciary via a Federal Judge strikes back! Don’t you just love the three tiers of government?! And checks and balances? So a Federal Judge sitting in New York issued an emergency stay which by effect temporarily halts the ejection (I didn’t say injection) of individuals being held at airports across the USA. This comes after the President’s order banned immigrants from seven Muslim countries. Big things coming from The Trump Man. Big Problem Things! Trump recently signed an executive order banning almost all citizens from Iran, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Somalia and Yemen from entering the US for 90 days. Trump considers the first three to be sponsors of terrorism, and the last three to be “countries of concern.” The next 90 days will be spent assessing whether the governments of these counties are vetting visa applicants enough to give the US enough data to assess whether the applicant’s pose a terrorism risk.
